Trade Agreements by discount, price and groups

We currently have customer groups and item groups setup in our system to provide certain customer groups a percentage discount on specific item groups. However, we need the system to take that a step further and break out specific items from the item group and populate a defined net price per a yearly contract. The screenshot below demonstrates how it is entered in the system.

Item 1012044 falls within product group IHC. The system doesn't look past the IHC discount to find the specific item that we need at a specific sell price. To give perspective, we have 1,000 items in the IHC product group. However, 200 of those items are priced on a contract price each year. So, customer group 400 needs to have the 35% discount on the 800 IHC product group items but special net pricing on the remaining 200. Is this the proper way to set this up or is AX not capable of such an agreement structure? Thank you!

That should work so the 1012044 is returned as 250, but there are two things to check

    1. In the price activation is the item relation activated?

    2. Is the 250 price better than the standard price with 35% discount?

You could try un-selecting find next on the item specific line to test, but AX looks to give the "best price" so if the 35% off is better than the 250 it would return it.

The answer to both questions is yes and AX still returns the discount price and does not find the $250 item price. I have also tried various combinations of the find next flag on each to no avail. I can get this to work if I enter the item specific line for a specific customer but not a customer group. Since we need to update the pricing for several customers it's preferred to do it by customer group rather than individually. Thank you!

In test remove the discount line. Is the 250 returned? If not I suggest the dimensions/specific fields on the line do not match the agreement (currency, uom, etc). No reason if you have activated item specific pricing that an item specific price will not be returned if the agreement requirements match the sales line.

I removed the discount line and it simply returns the gross price, no discount and does not recognize the $250. I'm still confused as to why it would pull the item price for a specific customer but not the group. I will have to dig deeper on how item specific pricing relates to customer groups.

I do not have access to ax where I am but the relation sales net price does not sound right, it should be price (sales) from memory.

Is that a retail or customized option?
