Intercompany Sales order lines creation in D365FO

Hi,

I am creating an intercompany sales order, I have defined customer intercompany setup in USMF, and in USRT I have defined a setup for the vendor. The problem is when I add an item in a sales order it throws me this error and I am unable to create lines in the sales order. Can anyone help me in this regard? I went through all the Docs of Microsoft and didn't find this solution.

"Item for product ID xxxx, product name xxx missing in company USRT, operation stopped - neither purchase orders nor intercompany sales orders have been created "

Hi Waqar,

Here is the suggested video which demonstrates your requirement - https://resources.westerncomputer.com/instructional-videos/how-do-i-set-up-items-and-products-in-d365-for-finance-and-operations.

Also please make sure you have required fields setup in done in USRT as well after it got released to USRT such as item group and item model group etc. Else you will get error infologs pertaining to these when you try to create sales lines.

There are few pre-Requites for intercompany trade.

Same product should be available in both companies USMF and DEMF

Procurement categories not supported for this process

Purchase/sales price to be setup if Cost price is not enables as unit price

Default storage dimension should be available on vendor/customer/item masters else while creating orders system will through the error

you need to complete the Intercompany trade configuration before processing.

You have to check the inventory (released products) in the USRT company and ensure that item 1000 is a product that is available and correctly set up in this company.
