Hi,
I wonder if Microsoft does have certification for software development standards or other standards? The Trustcenter tells me, that e.g. Azure is ISO 9001 certified:
https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/trustcenter/compliance/iso-9001
But this is only valid for the development of the Azure cloud services? Further, I find certificates for third party audits for e.g. ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 2, SOC 3 requirements. Also, I find some certificates for Dynamics 365 CRM. But how about other products, e.g. MS Dynamics NAV? Does Microsoft have an internal quality management system? How about software life cylce development/ SDLC? Or ISO 25010 "Systems and software engineering - Systems and software quality requirements and evaluaiton - system and software quality models"?
How does Microsoft develop software? Do they use User Requirements (URS), Functional Specifications, Risk Analysis, and so on? Can I find information about this somewhere? Or is this kept a secret?
Truly yours
Wolf
