What permission needed to access SSRS from GP

Hi,

I'm wondering what permission needed for GP user to access canned company SSRS reports from GP.

I have a user who is getting error message about insufficient permission while trying to do so from GP. However the same user can access the same reports directly from IE

    Have you deployed SSRS reports in GP?

    Hi Ramadan,

    After deploying the ssrs report to Report manager, Please make sure that you have System Administrator\System Viewer role in Report manager Home page > Site Settings > Security > Current user assignment.

    My understanding that SSRS security is based on Windows authentication. for a moment I thought accessing SSRS from GP need certain role or tasks to be assigned in GP.

    When I checked back the error message, it clearly stating the domain user has insufficient permission, hence, there nothing belong to GP permissions. I double checked with the user, found out that he was trying to access different company other than the one he has assigned a permission to.

    So issue now solved - thank you,
