ReportReport

I have been e-mailing customer statements, successfully for a number of months, however today I get the message "Unable to create status directory.  Statements will not be e-mailed."

Using Microsoft Dynamics GP version 10

How can this be recified?

    Here's what I found. It seems like it might fit your situation.

    Unable to create Temp directory.

    Situation:

    An error occurred while creating the Temp subfolder, where the PDF report fields and the status report will be stored.

    Solution:

    The e-mail statements process will be canceled. No statements will be sent, and no status report will be returned. Contact your system administrator for more information.

    Hola everyone

    My error message: Unable to create Temp directory. The e-mail statements process will be canceled. No statements will be sent, and no status report will be returned. Contact your system administrator for more information.

    Situation: In our situation, I moved the default statement folder to a new location and that caused the error.

    Solution: We located the Dex.ini and updated the following line with the correct/new network path

    EmailStatusPath = \\servername\sharedfolder\

    Hi Everyone:

    My Error Message: Enter a path where the E-mail Statements Status report will be created. The path is required before Send E-mail Statements can be marked for a customer.

    Solution: Added the following path to the dex.ini file.

    EmailStmtStatusPath=\\servername\sharefolder\

    Hello All,

    I can confirm that this works, I've had this very issue on one of my PC's here and changed the DEX file in the Data Directory to:

    EmailStmtStatusPath=\\servername\sharefolder\

    For some reason it was incorrect on this 1 machine and was affecting the emailing of the Statements by that user. All good now though, thanks guys!

    I am the system administrator?? Is that really the solution?

    I can confirm in GP2013 that the correct dex ini setting is as follows.

    EmailStmtStatusPath=\\ServerName\ShareName\

    Sorry for posting on a 6 year old thread.
