Dynamcis AX and SharePoint 2013 on separate Databases

I have a four server setup for AX AOS, SQLAX, SharePoint, and SQLSP (all server 2012).

While I have other environments that have SharePoint and AX on same SQL server when I tried to separate them I'm not able to access Enterprise Portal with any other account besides the AX install account. I'm sure I'm missing a rights issues some where but for the life of me I haven't been able to track it down yet.

Below are few errors I'm getting.

Event ID: 1000

An unhandled error has occurred. To view details about this error, enable debugging in the web.config file or view the Windows event logs.

Either the user, <domain>\<username>, does not have access to the Dynamics AX initial database, or the database does not exist.

EVENT ID: 8317

Machine '<sharePoint Front End> (Portal(_LM_W3SVC_1334187406_ROOT))' failed ping validation and has been unavailable since '10/7/2014 12:54:58 AM'.

EVENT ID: 1026

Application: Microsoft.Workflow.ServiceHost.exe

Framework Version: v4.0.30319

Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.

Exception Info: Microsoft.Workflow.Common.FatalException

Stack:

   at Microsoft.Workflow.Common.Fx+<>c__DisplayClass2.<FailFast>b__0()

    Hi,

"Either the user, <domain>\<username>, does not have access to the Dynamics AX initial database, or the database does not exist." sounds like something related to SSAS. I can't come up with the rights needed off my head, but you can also look into SSAS and see if it has anything to do with the errors.

For any Admin who's investigating this. I accidentally flagged this as abuse and I didn't mean it. The pop up just appeared right when I tried to click "Submit".

I couldn't find a way to undo the report.

    Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
