Check imaging on Ingenico 6550

I have a customer that is using the Ingenico 6550 and would like to know if it will provide and ESE reciept includint Check information, Phone number, driver license number, amount and signature when using a magtek mini micr usb reader.

Also which drivers are the best to use with RMS OPOS or RBA?

I appreciate your assistance in this matter.

    Though I cannot tell you which readers will take care of reading check data, as this is not something our customers have yet asked from use, I can tell you that the I6550 will no do this.  This device will only act as a SigCap device, MSR or Pole display.

    I am not aware of all of the capabilities of the i6550, but as far as setting it up with Store Operations, You will need to get the OPOS Driver from the EpsonExpert.com.  It is only supported with the use of the OPOS driver.  If you are using POS 2009, then you will need to get injected with the RBA.  In POS 2009, the RBA will then automatically go through a  pre-installed add in and integrate with POS 2009.

    The POS 2.0 also uses the OPOS drivers as described in the KB article below.
