Dears,
Everytime we duplicate a report from the AOT and we restore the DS to collect the new fields, this error appears :"The number of defined parameters is not equal to the number of cell definitions in the parameter panel", i found multiple solutions some talking about modifying the XML file ( didn't work ), other solution is to create a new report and copy the DS and the designer (got the same error).
is there anything from microsoft? your help is highly appreciated
Hi Sylvester,
It sounds like you may be missing a reference that still refers to the original report.
Part of SSRS thinks it is still running the old report, but the code is confused that it is not getting what it wants from the SSRS engine.
It's possible you have missed a drop-down; and I would recommend reviewing how this was done.
If you are still having issues, please submit a new incident with Microsoft for assistance.
