Is it still possible to use the 'Default receipt location' set on the warehouse even when advanced warehousing is turned on?

    For what purpose?

It can be entered, but WHS uses location directives and another default location for standard location handling.

If the mobile device goes down for any reason I may want to revert to standard functionality.  When posting a product receipt or an arrival journal I would like the default receipt location to be auto-populated instead of having to choose a location.

    Hi Robert,

In non-Warehouse management scenarios, I think AX would put the Default receipt location on to the purchase order line. Although it will not do this when the Item and Warehouse are enabled for Warehouse management, you have another option when using Arrival functionality....

On the 'Setup' tab of the Arrival overview form, you can supply the Journal name of the Item arrival journal, and the Warehouse/Location. The location entered here will be copied to all lines of the Item arrival journal when it is created.

If you want to skip Arrival, and go directly to Product receipt, then I cannot think of an easy solution.

    Hi Robert

I'm currently using that setup, where the Outbound process uses the new Warehouse Management process while the Inbound process uses Item Arrival. Receiving warehouses will require Default Receipt Locations.
