Resolve an Incident that has Open Activities

I am trying to resolve an incident, It is showing me the popup error;

This case cannot be closed because there are open activities associated with it.

I know that there are some open activities associated to that incident. 

When I click on Resolve Incident the incident has to be resolved and if there are any open activities it has to be closed automatically.

Please help...

    This should help. Write a plugin on pre to close the activities when the status of case get change

    I am trying to resolve the Case from CRM UI; I need all the activities to be completed automatically before it gets resolved.

    Hi,

    You can write a plugin and register it on pre-validation  stage of StateChange event of Case. So when you will try to resolves the case, the plugin will trigger and will first resolve all the open activities and then your case will be closed with any error.

    IS there something I am missing here?
