Retail POS - manual credit card entry using pay card action?

Hello,

We want to add a "manual credit card payment" button as a payment option on the retail POS. We are using a 3rd party payment processor so we can modify the EFT service using the Retail SDK.

I cannot set the action of the button to "Pay Card" as this will follow the current process of paying using a credit card. I am not familiar with how the process gets to the EFT service so i can re-use functionality.

Any advice on how to get by this hump is greatly appreciated.

i tried before to by pass the credit card authorization using ax 2012 FB but it dose not work it seems like the SDK is not working properly so try the service solution in the Retatil SDK and overwrite the Credit card processing and authorization...... if you need help i will be available

Thanks for your offer Faress.

I am using the Retail SDK for payment processing.

I was thinking of creating a Blank Operation and from there pass in some sort of variable that indicates that it will be a manual credit card. The problem now is how would I call the payment process? And is there some sort of variable that I can set that it is a manual payment type? And that would launch a form for the user to enter manual credit card.

Would my proposed solution work?

Blank Operation is the wrong choice , you have to use the Payment Trigger in Triggers Project these include all the payment process

We have solved this. Instead of having a new button that says Manual Card Entry we decided to use the existing Card button that would launch frmCard. on frmCard we added button that would tell what type of card payment would be launched. It could be debit, credit and manual credit card entry.

This way we keep the same functionality to keep it as simple as we can.

I am also exploring the possibilities of customizing the card payment procedure but is having problems finding the frmCard? Where in the solution is it located?

Hope doing well,its sounds good to hear manual card payment working well.Am trying the same from default button property 201(Pay card),but in pos level after entering card number am facing error "Authorization could not complete and error parameter name missing value"

Kindly suggest me for manual card payment entry

Holy smokes. I didn't even know this thread is still active after so long.

I am not sure of your process.

My customization called a method to launch the payment processor pin pad manual card payment. Therefore once the code is called - the pin pad takes care of manual card - and it returns a response for me to map to the response properties in AX and that's all.

Hi Mike,

I want to do the same type of customziaiton.My scenario is that i want to send payment amount to the card processing machine. this machine will send approval code and based on that i want to call the paycard operation of the POS. so kindly help me what area do i have to do the customizations.

Hi

I'm doing exactly similar work, but I cant the related form to Pay Card button , in order to customize it. would you please help me where the form is located in services.sln?now I've created a blank operation and test connection to my own EFT , every things works properly and I can send the amount to my EFT and get the result, but I need to call payment process !
