Marketing email: Images stored on cloud storage and uploaded by URL aren't rendering on gmail

Hi all,
I have an issue with a marketing email I'm sending out.
I've created a Marketing email and uploaded an image via the /insert from URL/ feature. When sending out the email, I'm finding that the image won't render on gmail specifically and loads on other email clients.
Another important aspect of this is that the image uploaded via URL is currently stored in my cloud storage (One Drive) account. Images uploaded via URL from the web don't have this issue so I believe it relates to where my image is stored. I've tried other cloud storages and the issue persists.

Thanks,

    Thanks Rudy,
That's quite insightful. Please let me know if you find anything else on what gmail settings may be blocking this or if you find any way to work around while continuing to use images stored in the cloud.

    Hi,

We analyzed the information you provided, and we performed the following tests.
    1. Upload another image in OneDrive and generate a share link (http://xxxxxxx) and a direct link (http://xxxxx.jpgrespectively.

    2. Send RTM MKT email to Google mailboxes

3.Login to Google account in Microsoft Outlook and Gmail respectively, the image of direct link can be displayed normally in Outlook, but the image of share link cannot be displayed.Gmail web version cannot be displayed.

Therefore, we think this may be related to the settings of Gmail web version, and we are testing to find out the exact reason.
    Here are some alternatives.

    1. Use Google Mail in Outlook apps.
    2. Save the image to Dynamics 365 instead of OneDrive.

I hope my answer is helpful to you! If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me.

    Best Regards,
    Rudy Zhang
