5-6 times a day, a user is getting the error "An open operation on table 'SV_Favorites' failed accessing SQL data" clicking "more info" states that "Create table permission denied in database "master" This is in a recently upgrading GP 2013 environment. The error requires the user start task manager and close GP.
The user did not have user mapping to the master table in the old production server or the new production server.

This was an upgrade from GP 2010. Only one user is having the error when running month-end procedures as only one user is using eOne SmartView which I believe is the source of the "SV_Favorites" table in question. I'm waiting on a response from eOne support to verify if this is a security role error and I need to grant the user permissions to SmartView.
Is only one user getting this error? Does it occur on more than one workstation?
The user does not need to be mapped to the Master db. That is a SQL function. To create tables, the user needs rights to update master. Have you run Grant.SQL (a GP SQL script found in the GP folders)?
What level did you upgrade from? V2012?, V10, earlier?
If you create a new user ID for this user, do they still get the problem?
