Hi,
I am new to AX 2012 R3.
I want to upgrade from Cu 8 to Cu11 in the pre download vm AX 2012R3.
How to do CU 8 to CU 11 upgradation?(slip stream file)
How much time it will take?
First of all, why do you want to update to CU11? It's very old, why not update to the latest version?
Here's installation instructions for CU13: support.microsoft.com/.../cumulative-update-13-cu13-for-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-r3
If you don't have any customizations it will take about 1 working day throughput time. If you have never installed any updates, it can take many days.

I have to import .axmodel file into ax and that .axmodel file have cu11 version that's why I am updating my environment from cu8 to Cu11 to import model file. The environment i am using is vm (contoso).
