Dynamics GP Business Portal 6.1

Hi, I want to know, if Business Portal 6.1 will work with SharePoint 2013 and also with 2013 Team Site template. I tested it with 2013 template, but it does not allow to install Business Portal 6.1 on 2013 template. Is there any way to install it or we have to wait for another version ? Also, Is there any way, that employees can generate leave request using Business Portal ? Regards, Shakil

    Thanks for your help. As per the blog, it will not work with SP 2013 site template. Will there be any updated  version, which will work with SP 2013 site template ?

    BP 6.1 is not being looked at to work with SharePoint 2013 pages as the BP features are being moved into the application starting in GP 2013 R2 and in future releases.

    Yes, I know that GP 2013 r2 version incorporates purchase requisition module itself. But is this mean that they are going to close Business Portal with the time being and all the BP modules will  be incorporated in GP itself.

    Shakil,

    The current strategy, which has been communicated to customers and partners, is the phasing out of BP and replacing BP functionality with functionality inside Dynamics GP.  With the release of the web client, it no longer makes sense to maintain both.
