Unable to log on to Microsoft Dynamics AX

Hi All

I seem to have an issue when trying to open a SSRS report data sources (Report data provider) in Visual Studio, I get the following error.

What I don't understand is that I can access the AOS perfectly fine.

    Hello Charles,

    The problem is in your Report Configuration Manager. Go to: Start->Report Configuration Manager.

    Here check the Logins. It should be Local System or the credentials using which your AOS runs for eg. the Administrator credentials. After setting up this report configuration, please go to Services->Sql Server Reporting Services->Properties(right click)->Logon. Verify is the login credentials are same as AX credentials or not.

    Turns  out the Client Configuration Utility wouldn't save my changes to the configuration.

    I changed the default one using - http://dynamics-ax-dev.blogspot.com.au/2010/03/changing-original-server-configuration.html

    My next question is why the Configuration wouldn't save?
