Nothing Happens When Launching Integration Manager (IM)

Hello,

A few basics - I am running GP2010 in a Citrix environment, on Windows 2008 Enterprise SP2 32 bit.

When I attempt to launch IM from within GP nothing happens.  I receive no error messages and IM doesn't launch.  I am launching IM by going to 'MS Dynamics GP'-->Tools-->Intergrate-->Integration Manager.

If I launch IM by navigating to the .exe and launching via windows explorer, it opens perfectly.

It seems like GP doesn't know where IM is and I don't know how to point it to the correct location.

Background info - we did have some problems installing the Payroll Update last week that caused me to copy the GP folder from a server where the update was successful.  There were some minor changes that needed to be done within dex.ini file to reset some configurations, but I cant find anything on IM.

Thanks in advance

Joe

    Please send over a copy of your DEX.INI file. I will make the necessary changes and send it back to you. YOu  can also Google or Bing(IM DEX.INI settings) and probalby find what you need to do.

    Thanks Richard - I was a little thrown off because I looked at my dex.ini from before the update and there were no entries relating to IM (and IM was working pre update).

    Anyway,  I added following lines to my dex.ini file and it is working:

    IMPath=C:\......\IM.exe

    IMExecpath=C:\......\IMRun.exe

    Thank you so much

    Joe

    Glad you found it. I have seen this for years. Never did find out a reason why this happens. Happy integrating!
