How can I cancel a missing check number?, it doesn't exist in the apdoc table.

The 03.630.00 Report shows "missing" for some check nbr, then I try to cancel them in 03.040.00 and they doesn't exist. I run the command select * from apdoc where refnbr = '007590' and doctype in ('CK','HC') and there is not results. How can I remove or cancel or put "void" status for those check numbers?. thanks
