Hello,
As I understand it, a contact may only be associated with one Account. But, I have scenarios where a contact may be a Vice President at one Company and a Board Member of another organization. I would like to refrain from adding the same contact into the database twice, but I would like to see all contacts of an account listed on the Contacts tab.If I use the customer relationship feature, I am able to link a contact to another account, but I would have to look at both the Contacts tab and Relationships tab of that second account to get a complete view of contacts associated with it. When looking at the contacts of an account, there is no way to know there are additional relationships to more contacts without clicking over to the Relationships tab. That seems like a roundabout way to get a complete picture of an account.Does anyone have suggestions on how to display the same contact on the Contacts tab of more than one Account? Thank you,Sandy

I have the same question (0)Hi Sandy,
Using the Relationship Roles is most certainly the best manner to achieve your desired results. To view them all in one place you may want to consider using an IFrame to render the related areas on a single tab. This would be the easiest method.
However, if you are wanting something "sexier" you can develop some client-side Jscript that counts the number of related contact and/or relationships and puts the count value in parentheses in the label of the area on the left navigation pane.
If you aren't well versed in Jscripting, the first suggestion will be faster and easier to swallow....
