Hi,
I am trying to configure server side synch in MS dynamics CRM. I have a user specific email address for incoming emails and a common email for all the users for outgoing emails. However both the emails are the same domain. (@abc.com)
Now, I have configured the email server settings by selecting POP settings and configured the incoming and outgoing settings which i got it from the client along with the port numbers.
Server Type: POP3/SMTP
Incoming Server Location: mail.abc.com
Outgoing Server Location: smtp.gmail.com
Credentials:
Incoming Connection:
Authenticate Using: Credentials Specified by the User or Queue
Use same settings for Outgoing: No
Outgoing Connection:
UN: xyz@gmail.com
PW: gmail password
Advanced:
Incoming port Number: 110
Outgoing port Number: 465.
After configuring all the settings, mailbox status is failure for both incoming and outgoing. However while refreshing for a moment it was "Not Run" for the outgoing and then after completion both are failures.
Please help.
Regards,
Madhu
