On Log In Window: Enter key and backspace key advances cursor in the password field

In the GP 2013 welcome window at login, the enter key, delete and backspace keys advance the cursor in the password window.  When this happens, I have no other choice but to close out of GP and reopen it.  I have to use the mouse to click OK instead of pressing the Enter key.  I'm still able to work in GP but this is getting really annoying.  I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro and GP 2013 SP1.  Any suggestions?

    Hi,

    The long term suggestion is (and as Vaidy alludes to)...fix the problem within your vba customizations.  You will find this in the dynamics.txt.

    Short term suggestions, as Vaidy says, click OK on the error message window that is hiding behind the main GP login screen, alternatively you can take your mouse and highlight the entire password, then start typing again.

    If you have an error/warning message lying behind your GP login window, this would happen. You may not have noticed this particular message box. All you need to do is to find it and close it before entering the password.

    I have faced this issue many times when a VBA customization fail while loading GP. I have to simply click on OK and continue.
