2- I have added a webresouce(JS) which show simple alert("Hello") on form load. Same, it shows fine in web browser but not in Dynamics App

    Hi Chhya,

    Are you on v9? If yes, try using Xrm.Navigation.openWebResource("new_webResource.htm");

    docs.microsoft.com/.../openwebresource

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Ravi,

    Thanks for the information. Can you please suggest what should I use here to open webresource in above case? Previously I was using window.open(address) but to make this standard, I replaced with CRM method.

    Please guide me.

    Hi Chhaya,

    Open Web Resource is not supported for Mobile Clients. Check the documentation here-msdn.microsoft.com/.../jj602956.aspx

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Goutam/Ravi,

    I have account with Unmanaged solution. I have logged in with mobile as well. I have tried with your suggestions. I am getting checkbox of "Enable for tablet" but when I click on Ribbon Button to open that WebResouce, it doesn't show anything. For example, I have added a button in Account Form. I can see the button when I open the record. When I click on that button, it doesn't show me HTML webresource that is already marked as "Enable for tablet".

    Steps I performed.

    1- Install app and login with unmanaged solution account.

    2- Open web browser in computer and login with same account

    3- Put a button and set webresource show.

    4- Reopen mobile app and try to open it. It doesn't work. However, it works in Web browser

    Please suggest if I am missing

    I use this method:  Xrm.Utility.openWebResource("resource.html", parameter, '600', '600');

    Hi Chhaya,

    window.alert is not support in mobile client. msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn481572.aspx.

    For displaying the web resource in mobile, you need to set the config properties. Check this: docs.microsoft.com/.../create-web-resources-iframe-mobile

    Hope this helps.
