Hello Techies,

We have started getting the below error suddenly from last 2 hours.

"The plug-in execution failed because the Sandbox Client encountered an error during initialization.

there were no changes made in recent past. the above issue comes only for the entity which has plugins registered against them.

Any help is appreciated!!

    • If in OnPremise environment :
      • First steps
        • Restart IIS (IISRESET)
        • Restart Sandox service
        • Check
      • If it does not work, please check this out
        • no recent updates are installed
        • no one has made any changes to the crm file web.config
        • no one has made any changes to the log
        • then revert all changes
      • Them, check this out
        • If the plugin recalls external web services, make sure they are available and working
        • Try changing the isolation mode of the plugin from Sandbox to None
      • If none of these actions work, post the plugin code

    Is there any web service call or plug-in merge or any other use of external resources? Please give us some informations about the context, and if you can post the plug-in code.

    This is our production environment, where we have written couple of plug ins on lead create and we went live last year.  Everything was working fine.  And we dint do any changes after that.  Only from couple of hours we are facing this.  I guess the sandbox service would have been down or some roll ups would have messed up.  

    We tried debugging?  Plug in itself is not triggering

    Do you see any other issues?

    We are facing similar problem since morning

    No changes from our side since last week. All was working fine and then suddenly we started getting error

    1. Your are talking about last year, so please try to update reference to last sdk libraries and republish the plugin.
    2. If this doesnt work it might be a Microsoft issue and I would do the following:
      1. Try to debug to understand the right point where the plugin fails
      2. If there is no reason to fail, open a Ticket to MS

    Hi Francesco,

    Sandbox service was down on that day. After we created a ticket , MS have started the service and everything started working as expected.
