Since moving client from GP2010 to GP2013 they have been unhappy with SOP quotes. In the past they could put in a quantity and markdown, then they then bring up at a later date to fix the quantity to the actual order. In the past the negotiated markdown stayed with the quote even when the quantity was changed. Now when they change the quantity the markdown reverts to zero. Any ideas for how to suppress this new ‘feature”?

Hope you help me out, I am facing strange issue in Dynamic GP 2013 !!
I created SO with Markdown amount and transfer SO to BO or SO to FO and its working properly in case one by one transfer But as we are using Batch for series transfer Markdown amount value and qty changed automatically.
Anyone facing this kind of issue where are we doing wrong.

thanks guys - you were right. Went back and turned off third party pricing app from Horizon Int'l, and it works as expected. Should have known that they would be the source of the problem.
I too ran through a few test scenarios on GP 2013 SP2, and could not duplicate your issues. I even tried disabling markdowns in Sales Order Processing Setup, to see if this might be the issue. Even with markdowns disabled, the original markdown was maintained but could not be changed (and did not change, nor was it removed when quantities were changed).

I just tested this on GP 2013 R2 and am not seeing the behavior your client describes.
I am able to change the quantity of a line on a quote and the Markdown does not change. I tried changing the quantity from the main scrolling window and from the Sales Item Detail Entry window, and the Markdown amount does not change.
Just in case, I also tested it on GP 2013 SP2 and am not able to reproduce the issue. The Markdowns do not change when the quote is modified.
Are you able to reproduce the issue in their environment or any other GP 2013 environment?
