Deprecated Features of LCS Aug 2022 data packages

Dear all My query is Microsoft is going to deprecate Process Data Packages, which will replaced by DIXF.

little confuse as in Ax2012 DIXF was available and D365 it is Data Management. 

So what is the exact meaning of following 

 Lifecycle Services (LCS) features deprecated in August 2022

Feature name Used with AX 2012? Used with finance and operations apps? Replaced by another feature?
Process data packages No Yes Yes: Data Import Export Framework (DIXF)

    Hi Sandeep,

    A PDP was just a data package which was linked in an LCS BPM node. E.g. when BPM would describe a process where you could load some default data to get started, the PDP was available on this point to directly start the import of some default data.

    The PDP was mandatory for ISV solutions as part of the curation process, where I always disliked this requirement as customers could just import the demo or example data packages without browsing the BPM on LCS. So with deprecating the DPD, no feature of Data management itself is lost; it is only about being able to link a data package to a process node.
