Business Rules Question(s) CRM 2015

Greetings Community,

I would like to get some insight on the following two Business Rules related questions.

1. How exactly is CRM generating the Jscript when a Business Rule is triggered? I am looking here to understanding the process itself and the impacted components. The more details, the better!

2. In the case of CRM 2015, it is stated that Business Rules now run server side. I´m looking for some clarification on this, on how exactly the BR gets pushed to the server. Also, very important here, does it still "start" client side and then gets propagated to the server?
