i'm trying to post cost transaction journal in cost accounting module and it's showing this message Input of dimension is not allowed for cost category XX.
how to solve this issue ?

This can either be because of the cost accounting journals are not completely setup with the dimensions and offset dimensions. So, please check the cost accounting journal setup first.
In addition, check if your cost categories are still active and not suspended.
A third thing to look out for is the dimension posting control form in the cost accounting module.
Finally, if nothing else helps, check LCS for an available hotfix because there a quite many that have been released for the cost accounting module.
