Data Entity for Templates

Dear Experts,

I have come across a scenario, where we need to create few templates such as Vendor creation default templates, customer creation default templates from record info.

So my curiosity is- Dont we have any data entity or something we can export from UAT as an example and import in Prod?

Currently we are creating in all other test environment manually and then creating same thing in prod as well, which I think a little gap.

    In data management, you can export templates by pressing "Export Template". Is that what you was looking for ?

    Can You use default templates?

    actually I am not talking about data entity, instead I am talking about user template to create data like vendor, master, these templates are stored in Common module->>  record templates under setup

    The issue here is, we dont any scope to export and import these, all the time in all the env we need to create manually and test, I am looking for some suggestion or any way to avoid this.

    Some data can not be copied while they are environment spesific. So probably,  this is the one that may not be copied.

    I am not actually talking about data refresh, I need to know if we can export and import these templates, because it is tedious work to create templates manually in each and every env.

    I'm not aware of any data entity that exposes table SysRecordTemplateTable. You could try to create a custom data entity for that table.
