Manufacturing MOP3000 table

I am looking at several installations of Dynamics GP.  All of them have the MOP3000 table (MO Variances) but only one installation has values. It appears on that installation the records stopped populating after an upgrade to GP 2018.  Does anyone know if there was a change in how GP closes manufacturing orders?  I have yet to find anything to tell me that there was a change going to GP 2018 to prevent population of the MOP3000 but since the other installs have no records I am thinking there is a setting that got changed but I have not determined the setting.

After researching this some more I determined the MOP3000 table is populated by mmopPopulateVarianceTable stored proc.  Is there documentation on this.  I have yet to come across anything.
