Hi there,

Could you please advise where I should set up the Destination location in the Inventory locations form which is accessible via:

Inventory management > Setup > Inventory breakdown > Inventory locations: https://usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com/?cmp=USMF&mi=WMSLocation

Thank you very much for your help, in advance!

    Hi,

Once you save the record, it should be populated automatically. This lookup displays values from Inventory locations list for particular warehouse in case if you want to override it. It seems that for your case you don't have any other locations created for warehouse 08

RE: D365FO - Where to set up the Destination location in the Inventory locations form?

Thank you very much for your prompt help, Galyna!

Unfortunately, when I click save on the Inventory location form, I am getting 2 errors:

    1. Field 'Location' must be filled in.

    2. Field 'Destination location' must be filled in.

And I am unable to save as a result of those errors. The Destination location field remains empty. This is a vanilla downloadable demo of D365FO 1707 Platform Update 11.

Try to set Manual update flag and set Location. Destination location will be populated

In addition to that, why don't you want to use Location wizard which is called from Warehouse? Inventory management > Setup > Inventory breakdown > Warehouses > Functions button

RE: Where to set up the Destination location in the Inventory locations form?

Thank you very much for your help, Galyna! Turning on "Manual update" fixed "Field 'Destination location' must be filled in" error. However, I am still unable to save the Inventory location with the remaining error: "Field 'Location' must be filled in".

Also, I tried using the Wizard as you suggested and created an isle, but it did not help. Still got the same error: "Field 'Location' must be filled in".

What is interesting, "Field 'Destination location' must be filled in" error did not appear no matter whether the Manual update was Yes or No.

This is how I am doing and I do not see any issues:

Thank you very much for your help and follow through, Galyna!

The root cause of my issue was that I used WMSII instead of WHS.
