CRM Data not displaying in Chrome

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello guys,
I have been having a weird issue with Chrome lately. When I type in some data in CRM , the data is not displayed. This happens only for a few fields. If I enter data in other fields it is working fine. If I do the same in any other environment it is working fine.

    This will be on your CRM Server.

    Do you have a D Drive on the server? Possibly CRM was installed on D:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM instead?

    The way to check the exact location is to open IIS, open the CRM Web site, right click on it, and Explore. This will open the physical path. It is possible that whoever installed CRM installed it on the non-default location.

    Should be on the C Drive:

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb\_static\css\1049\notesv2.css

    It is the (x64 folder).

    Hi,

    Has your Chrome been updated to v62?

    There is a known issue with Chrome v62 and the Notes component.

    Since you are using CRM On-Prem, this resolution is easy.

    It is unsupported, but you don't have much choice since Microsoft does not have a fix yet.

    The workaround is to open file Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\CRMWeb\_static\css\1049\notesv2.css  and change line #118 from #0000 to color: #000000;
