Disassociating a plugin from entity in Dynamics CRM

We recently migrated from CRM 2011 to 2016. We get a strange error when we try to create a new record in entity.

microsoft.xrm.sdk.organizationservicefault microsoft.xrm.sdk version=8.0.0.0

This looks like an error thrown by plugin associated with the Entity.  Is there a way to disassociate the plugin from being called  when the record is created? We don't  have the code base of the Plugin

    Hi Vicky,

You can disable a Plugin step by following this guide. Alternitively, you can disable or remove the plugin step by using the Plugin Registration Tool found in the SDK.
