Export all the documents attached to financial ledger in NAV

Hello,

I have a client which after have made the transistion to Business Central cloud from Dynamics NAV they would like to export all the documents like the incoming invoice and so on. This is not the generated file from NAV but the attached file from the incoming documents.

How and where can I export this.?

There is no standard function for exporting them as a bulk as far as I know. But with the use of a simple customization I belive you can export them to file and store them outside of Business Central.

Personally I would recommend that you export them to Azure Blob storage and if you need to store them locally you can use AZCopy to export them to local disk after the BC export is completed.

Exporting them directly to a local disk from BC cloud might be more troublesome.

I do not have any sample code covering your exact scenario, but please circle back if you need further assistance around the Azure blob storage approach.
