is there any method in javascript to wait or sleep the function for second on onload event (D crm 365)

i just wanted to run javascript on onload event where i have to set the loading time that means it should take loading tym for second or minut so how can i set this using javascript in D crm 365

    Although this is not supported but you can use settimeout/setinterval -

    www.w3schools.com/.../met_win_settimeout.asp

    javascript.info/settimeout-setinterval
