Hi, Can an attachment on a Purchase requisition be passed to a Purchase order automatically or is it a manual task?  We have attachments on Purchase requisitions and want to be able to pass them to a Purchase order when created.

Thanks.

    Dear JM054,

You have to do it manually.

    Regards,

I have seen many people asking for this requirement.

Have a look at an old discussion

Sohaib, have you tried the copy functionality?  I can't get it to copy from a purchase req. to a purchase order.  Is that possible?  Thanks.

    I haven't tried.

You can give a try to that, it’s not very complex. Have a look at one of my previous discussion to understand how it works.

Do it, try it. If you face difficult time or if you get fail to do so, we can help you further.

    Hi JMO54,

If attachments are added to PR line, this attachments will be transferred to PO line level.

This functionality is not available if attachments are added to PR header level to PO header level because one PR might be converted to many POs depending on Procurement policies and suppliers selected.

    Thanks,

    Besiana

    Hi,

Can I clarify this, so when I create PO from PR, it only copies the attachment of PR Line?

    Thanks

Just came accross this topic. That is correct. Only attachments on the PR line are copied and pay attention that these are only copied to the PO line!
