How to build Rolling 12 mo income statement (with details of ea period) across fiscal years in Management Reporter?

Hi,

I'm trying to build a rolling 12 month income statement in management reporter. I'd like to be able to see the detail of each period and it will need to cross fiscal years. Does anyone have any advice? I don't want to have to go in and change my fiscal year & period every month.

Hi Erin,

You can change the Default Base Period to Last Closed Period or Current Processing Period. There are other options under the Default base period so you pick the one that fit for your schedule.

The rolling 12 month can be forward or backward using the base period + or base period -. But, you probably don't have a question on that. Check out the Default Base Period on the Report tab. Hope that helps.

Erin,

The following Column Definition meets your stated goal.

Year = Base; each Period is Period, Period-1, Period-2, Period-3, etc. I tested it.
