GP 2013 Word Templates SOP Invoices and RM Statements

I am confused as to why one configuration works for SOP Blank Invoice and does not work with RM Blank Statements when using Word Templates.

SOP Blank Invoices generate fine regardless of the format selected (DOCX, PDF, XPS, HTML).    However RM Blank Statements only generate successfully as DOCX or HTML).   Would prefer to use PDF for all the documents.   When attempting to generate RM Blank Statements to PDF, an exception report pops up and states that MS Word need to be installed.    But RM Blank Statements work just fine if generated to DOCX.

So why do SOP Blank Invoices generate to PDF and RM Blank Statements don't?   MS Word is installed.

How can I get the Statements to PDF?

Hello Warren.  This is a known issue in GP2013.  There is an issue with the conversion process of the statement that is causing the PDF to be generated.

This is targeted to be updated in SP2 of GP2013, but I can't guarantee that the update will be there or not.

This is a major problem.   I need to know if anyone has come up with a work around, or has an timeline on SP2 or if the fix for sure is going to be in it

Has the fix for this been released yet?!

Have you tested this on GP 2013 R2?

Note: I am not sure whether this issue fixed in GP 2013 R2. But, better you can install the latest version with hot fix and test the same.

    Hope this helps!!!
