Appointments Status

Hi All,

I've noticed one of our users has a SCHEDULED activity for 10 October. She set up this in advance of 10 October, and then following the meeting has added notes but it looks like she hasn't closed it.

 My question is, shouldn't the system update the status from SCHEDULED to OPEN once the date of the activity passes? Can you please advise what how the system manages these statuses?

    Hi

    There is nothing in the system that will do it systematically , however you can add a workflow that will update the status based on a time

    Hi RP,

    Whatever activity you create in CRM, its statuses are handled manually. CRM does not automate the changing of status on schedule OOB.

    You can have workflows to achieve your requirements. Also, this is correct behavior, because CRM has allowed users to use the system the way they want.
