    Hi Chuwy,

If you create a document type that uses a separate fulfillment process, the invoice will not fulfill when it allocates. The system won't let you post an unfulfilled invoice.

Take a look at Sales Document Setup:

    RE: Override Quantity Shortages

    Dear Ian,

Yes. But, we need to issue the sales order althought the stock is in negative level. The reason is we want the sales order to issue for customer to confirm. As a result, we need to mark the flag to allow for overiding of shortage quantity. But there is a problem for us on how to control over the invoice posting. Is there any flag for me to setup for the Invoice posting to check for the quantity of stock level? We want the system to stop the invoice posting if one of the sales item is in negative stock balance or zero.

    Thanks.

You need to look at your Quantity Shortage option for the SOP Document you are posting. Look in Tools >> Setup >> Sales >> Sales Order Processing. You can stop the sales order from being fulfilled if the stock quantity is zero.

    Ian.
