    Hi Tony,

The parameter fields in SSRS are displayed in order. What position do you mean? Please elaborate on it.

Vertical display or horizontal display? Add groups and sort.

    Hi Tony,

You can't adjust positions in SRSS dynamically. You can implement different sections with static designs and show\hide it based on parameters.

Could you, please, provide also more details about your requirement?

    Hi all,

My client faced the difficulty about printing check. Different banks have different sizes of checks. So, the misalignment may happen. They need to adjust the position of text eg. date.

    Hi Tony,

So, you want to dynamically change the position of the control in the report, that is not possible.

You can add multiple report designs and distinguish different banks to use them.

    Hi Blue Wang,

My client does not want to pay anymore if a bank changes the check layout or my clients supports additional banks. So, they need to adjust the position of text dynamically.

    Hi Tony Mok,

Even if they want to adjust it dynamically, you can't do it in the SSRS report. Have you checked if Excel or Word reports can solve your issue? You can check the CBD feature or create a custom printout.

Also if you need only to adjust text horizontally, you can create some kind of multiline report and combine the whole line on the server-side. Let's assume you can fit 200 chars on one line and starting from char 10 you need to put bank name and from char 60 bank address. If you need to move the bank name to the left or to the right you just decrease\increase the start char number for the text.
