Hi.
AX 2012 R3. We keep starting works orders for items where no BOM is present. Is there any method of control I can put in place to prevent the Start process for certain items?

Id be interested to hear thoughts / ideas.

Not as standard, it would need to be a customisation, or a process step to check a BOM exists that is enforced by the process (not the system).

Hi Steven, Just reviewing some old posts.

For info of anyone reading this. We achieved similar using the warnings on the BOM calculation groups. Thinking logically this issue should be flagged on the cost calculation anyway.
