Custom workflow is stuck on "Pending" status after submitting

Hi Guys,

I added a custom workflow to the Vendor Bank Accounts as per client's requirements. On my environment the workflow is working fine, but on the client's environment the workflow remains stuck on "Pending" status after submitting. It is not creating any work-items for the assigned user to approve. I have checked other settings to do with batch servers and they appear fine. Please assist me.

    thank you Arunraj, the batch jobs for the workflow were not running. its fixed now.

    This should be because of your access level on the LCS project.

    A Project owner security level should allow you to see that menu item. I just paid attention to your environment url. Is this happening on a sandbox environment? If yes, then you obviously have access to the VM where you can directly restart the batch service.

    On the environment page, click on Maintain and Restart service.

    Hi Tapiwa,

    To check if the batch jobs are running correctly, you can check if the start date/time of the batch job for the workflow message processing remains on the same date or if it is updating based on the recurrence settings.

    Please confirm whether the custom workflow is activated and whether the batch jobs for the workflow are running.

    What happens to standard workflows when you submit them ?

    Did you try to restart the batch service on LCS ?
