On - Hand Inventory Dual write Integration

Hi all,

Integration between on-hand information (F&O) - Product Inventory(CE) using Dual-write.
only Virtual tables are enabled in CE(inventoryonhandrequests) & (inventoryonhandentries) shown below.
But It need to sync from On-hand information(F&O -----> CE)Product Inventory in standard table not in virtual table is shown below.

Note: onhand inventory In F&O should sync with product inventory in CE. Our scenerio.

Kindly guide us to achieve this on Custom Dual-write / another method.

Hi Sindhu,

I haven't used on-hand dual write myself. You can find standard documentation about on-hand dual write and how it works here: Inventory availability in dual-write - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

If you would need to have on-hand information in other Dataverse tables for other purposes, I would suggest using the Inventory Visibility add-in which synchronizes all on-hand information: Inventory Visibility Add-in overview - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn which

Our scenario is,

In F&O on-hand list, inventory total available product Quantity update, adjustment or transferred the products happened need to sync with CE in standard table Product Inventory.

This integration Flows(F&O --->CE)

Could you suggest us the best way to overcome this.
We

Note: If We use Inventory Visibility add-in? could we achieve with our scenario?

And this scenario is not possible in Custom Dual-write?

Hi Sindhu,

The inventory visibility add-in is a proven way of continuously syncing on-hand information with Dataverse. You can consider creating an integration between inventory visibility and the Product Inventory table in CE.

There is no direct dual write option out of the box to the Product inventory as that will have a huge performance impact.

Their is any possibilities.. to achieve this scenerio through Power Automate?

If their..could you say the source of Table need to use in FO?

Exposing api need to use? in FO if power automate is possible means!

Hi Sindhu,

It is not recommended to use Power Automate for this scenario due to possible high number of changes. Power Automate should not be seen as Power Integrate. You can then better have a look at Logic Apps which also has a Dataverse connector. Then still, I think the best way to have on-hand information synced from F&O should be the inventory visibility add-in.

Hi Andre,

using Inventory visibility add-in i brought on-hand inventory in CE as a App shown below.

but we need all the data in CE STANDARD TABLE which is shown below

In this product inventory Table.

could you help me how can i bring those data in product inventory in Field service CE

and In FO the Inventory Management the inventory visible parameter is not reflecting. shown below the sample of image here

this is not reflecting In FO

Hi Sindhu,

As mentioned above, you can e.g. use Logic Apps to move data from one table to another.

In case the menu item in F&O is not visible, then check if the feature "Inventory Visibility integration" has been enabled in this environment.

Thanks for the solution Andre,

In F&O inventory Managent >Setup > Inventory visibility integration parameter. In General Tab which i shown below sc-1.Inventory Visibility endpoint, here i have selected GET ENDPOINT button.

The inventory visibility endpoint is get created. But it shows different URL.If i try to naviagte it shows page not found shown below SC-2, here what exactly i have to give could you suggest me to found out.

Hi Sindhu,

I would suggest reviewing the installation with help of the documentation. Install the Inventory Visibility Add-in - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn

The endpoint is not a URL to be able to access an internet page, so the error you get is expected.

Using Inventory visibility Add-in is Warehouse ID or Name get sync between FO---> CE?

i cant see warehouse id or name in CE is shown below.

Could guide me how to get warehouses in CE.
