How to setup scanner datalogic magellan 9300i on USB?

"I have a Magellan 9300i device. The sales software supports the scanner only via USB. I tried to follow the instructions in the manual but without success. I connected the USB from the scanner to the PC, but it does not respond at all. Can you please help me?"
