Add fields to a report without customization

ReportReport

Hello,

I would like to add the unit of measure code and the VAT in the project estimate report, they are not there when I open the RDLC file.

Is there a way to do it without adding the two fields via an extension?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

    Hi,

Please create a custom report layout of that report and export that RDLC report layout in the Report builder and add those fields into the desire position.

    Please refer the below link.

    Hi Nithin,

I have already tried to do this, but these two fields do not exist in the dataset used by the report.

In that case a customization is required.

The only fields you can add to the report in RDLC with out an extension is the fields that are already a part of the dataset for your report.

If you need to add Dataitem, this needs to be customized.

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.
