Lead Duplicate Detection button missing

Posted on by 10

Where to find the duplicate detection button for multiple selected new leads to the system? It previously sat in the command bar and a report could be sent via email with a link with possible flagged duplicates.

The "Detect Duplicates" ribbon button has been removed in UCI as it is no longer needed - duplicate detection happens automatically when the user creates or updates a record and are given an appropriate warning. To detect duplicates, I believe the you can stiill follow this guide: docs.microsoft.com/.../run-bulk-system-jobs-detect-duplicate-records but as mentioned, this shouldn't be needed.

    Hi Sophie,

I believe this is by design as that button only supports web applications.

    The documentation isn«t very explicit:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../detect-duplicate-data
