Hi,

When trying to scrap a fixed asset I get this error message that there can only be one sub ledger transaction per voucher:

I know that this can be overridden with this parameter but I wouldn't want to do this. Is this normal behavior or am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

If we don't enable "Allow multiple voucher in one transaction" in GL parameters, than we cannot include multiple subledger entries in one transaction.

However, can you share what is the Account and offset account your trying to post. It will help to understand better.

Hi Osman, the account is the fixed asset and the offset account is empty on the journal line. I would expect it populates with the ledger accounts specified on the posting profiles for scrap at posting.

Hi Judy, according to your screenshot, scrap is not one of the transactions that generate split in a single voucher

Hi Bharath, that is clear but still doesn't answer why the transaction scrap generates multiple subledger transactions. Please see response to Osman.

Hi I just figured out it is because of the depreciation adjustment the system makes. It the checkbox is unticked from the fixed asset parameters "Automatically create depreciation adjustment for disposal" the error message is not there anymore. Thank you all.
