Tracking a static contenct link

Hello everebody,

i am creating a marketing email. I want to create a link behind a word. For this i mark the word, use the "link" and add via static content a specific event url. I create the following content:

"{{msevtmgt_event(4b6c61e0-cb17-4a00-82c1-10c6ed3dc534).msevtmgt_publiceventurl}}" - how you can see it shows me the event URL.

This is german, the "nachverfolgung" means tracking and "ziel" is target.

The link will be set, but its not possible to track the interaction of this link via inisghts. How you can see in the screenshot, the word is marked as a link but will not tracked like the big button we created.

What can we do to get insights about this URL?

    Hi,

    Links in the form of static content or dynamic content are not tracked unfortunately.

    Similarly, such links do not appear in the drop-down list of conditions associated with link clicks in the if/then tile of the customer journey

    It is recommended to enter the actual URL of the event in the link input box. For example, https://....microsoftcrmportals.com/event/?id=Event_xxxxxx

     

    You can post your proposal in Ideas forum to allow people to vote for your ideas in order to improve the problem.
