I would like to create alerting on my teams slack channels from health metrics information in life cycle services (environment monitoring). Currently I cannot find any option on it and will appreciate help to know how this can be achieved.Also I am open to any possible solutions/options for achieving the goal to create alerts for my health metrics.
Hi,
There are three events that trigger an alert rule in D365 FO: Create-type and delete-type events, Update-type events and Due date-type events.
If you want to alert on your team's slack channels in LCS, I'm afraid you'll need to do some custom development.

Every health metric must have some sort of alerting mechanism. Do you know of any relevant articles that guide on your advice regarding custom development

You can setup Azure Application Insights to retrieve telemetry from F&O. Read the documentation here: learn.microsoft.com/.../monitoring-and-telemetry-appinsights
