Can a Purchase order creator cancel the same purchase order

Hi All,

Please how can I grant access to a purchase order creator to cancel same purchase with open status. Is this allowed in AX in terms of segregation of duties

I have 100s of purchase orders with open status in AX system to be cancelled as these POs are no longer needed .

Also, is there anyway to do bulk cancellation of POs as it will be a tedious task to cancel the purchase order individually.

Hi Fade,

Depending on the security roles setup and the SoD rules in your environment, a user can both create and cancel purchase orders.

Out of the box, there is no bulk update for cancellations.

Hi Fade,

We don't have mass cancelation PO feature in the system. But a creator can cancel the open PO. That's doable out of the box.

If you are willing to go for customization then You can also create custom batch job to cancel all open PO's.
